Builder Gel
Builder gel is a strengthening gel designed to add structure, durability, and protection to your natural nails while maintaining a beautiful, natural-looking finish. Unlike regular gel polish, builder gel creates a stronger overlay that helps support nail growth and reduces breakage.
At No.29, we offer two types of builder gel, allowing us to choose the most suitable option for your individual nails and lifestyle.
Soft Builder Gel is ideal for a lot clients. It provides strength while remaining flexible, making it perfect for healthy natural nails that need extra support to encourage growth and improve durability.
Hard Builder Gel offers maximum strength and structure. It is recommended for clients with longer nails, those prone to cracking or lifting, or anyone who requires additional durability. Hard builder gel can also be sculpted and shaped to create a stronger nail architecture.

What is builder gel and who is it suited for?

Nails and cuticles are trimmed and buffed before applying an overlay using BIAB to the natural length of your nail. This service can last anywhere between 3 – 4 weeks. Builder gel is great for help your nails to grow – particularly great for nail biters or weak nails.

*Required every 3-4 weeks. Nails are filed down to desired length and shape, cuticle work is completed and more builder gel is applied. Finish this treatment with a colour of your choice followed by some hydrating cuticle oil.

Nails are filed down and acrylic/builder gel is soaked off using acetone. Nails are trimmed and buffed, clear polish and cuticle oil are applied.
